I have always been a creative individual as far back as I can remember. My creativity came in multiple facets, from drawing and writing short stories, to photography and the dishes I prepared as a chef. After 19 years in the restaurant business, I decided to make my passion for art my career.
I discovered my skills for drawing in grade school, sketching the characters from my X-Men comic books. I continued honing my craft throughout high school and for about a year after. My work and school began to consume my time and I slowly began to stop drawing... for nearly 15 years.
One day I was scrolling through the App Store app on my iPhone and came across the free app of the week, it was an app called Procreate Pocket. I checked it out and thought it might be a neat app to use, so I downloaded it, only to promptly forget about it for a few weeks. It was when I was cleaning up my iPhone, deleting old apps, that I actually opened it and decided to give it a try. I chose one of my photographs, Orange Isolation, to paint. I did a quick digital painting of the azalea and my passion was reignited. I downloaded the full version of Procreate for iPad and since that day, I have been creating new works.
As far as my photography goes, I try to capture the best image possible so as to not need to do any editing. I've used a couple different cameras, including my iPhone 4s and 6 Plus. I enjoy shooting a range of subjects including: nature, animals, food, events, head shots and artistic nudes.
So, that's a little about me. I want to thank you for allowing me to share my passion with you.
